Below you’ll find bit of information about people behind Dynamic Events Ireland.

Richard Phelan – Managing Director

Richard has 17 years of experience in the event business. He has spent 5 years as General Manager for the biggest action centre in Wicklow and 12 years for Outdoor Dynamics who re-branded and is now Dynamic Events.

Richard has built a reputation which implies quality and has formed long-standing relationships in the Events industry which have grown stronger through the years as his company expanded and developed new concepts and ideas.

His philosophy is simple, he loves dealing with people and has surrounded himself with a like minded team who love the business they are in and who are professionals.

Richard’s early career was in Sales and Marketing and he went on to study Outdoor Education in the mid 80’s. His combined skills have led him to where he is today with a very successful business and a fantastic future.

Richard is a keen Sailor and spent many years training for the Irish Sails Association. He has recently completed a Transatlantic trip from Tenerife to the Bahamas on the boat “Northabout”.

Richard is a family man with 3 great kids and a fantastic partner without whose support would not be able to give his business all the energy, time and attention that that is needed to develop a successful events company.

Deirdre Phelan BA. H.Dip – Financial Director

Deirdre is a native of Dublin and comes from a large family three of whom are Accountants. Deirdre was a Secondary School Teacher for 15 years and is a mother to three wonderful children. She manages to balance her family and career life with incredible ease, and if you’ll pardon the pun she is a great asset to The Dynamic Events Team!

Colin Ray – Operations Director

Colin has worked in the events business for 13 years, his extensive knowledge in organising events, has earned him a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading programme planners. Colin’s relaxed and stress free attitude has a reassuring affect from planning stage to the delivery of your event.

A keen windsurfer regularly competing on the Irish circuit, never a dull moment in this guys life!

Ena Hurley – Client liaison / Sales Admin

Mother. Ena joined Dynamic Events in 1996. All admin and client liaison. First voice and interaction with clients.

People lover who has Accumulating a mass of ebuddies over the years. Wild about music, rock and roll and blues. A guitar Player!
