A New Chapter for Dynamic Events Ireland

Dynamic Events founder and Managing Director Richard Phelan has completed the sale of the company to fellow company director Niall O’Connor. 

Richard founded Dynamic Events in 1996, and the company has since become one of the most respected team-building and event management companies in Ireland. The company is known for delivering high-quality events, conferences, and team-building experiences for corporate clients. 

Richard earned a reputation for his expertise in the world of team building, incentive travel experiences, and corporate event management, and for his ability to build connections and develop long-lasting relationships with clients and partners in the industry. 

He will be sorely missed by the Irish events industry, but particularly by Dynamic Events, which he has grown from humble beginnings to a staff of 15. His friendly and supportive nature, coupled with strong leadership and vision, helped cultivate an environment of creativity and innovation. 

A seamless transition: Niall O'Connor takes charge

Richard wanted to ensure that the business would continue to thrive after he stepped down, and Niall O’Connor, a company director in Dynamic Events, is a more than worthy successor. 

Niall first joined the company in 2010 in a temporary role, providing support to general administration, but quickly moved up the ranks to the position of Company Director in 2014. Commenting on his appointment, Niall said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Managing Director at Dynamic Events Ireland. The company is made up of an exceptional group of people whom I hold in very high regard, I’m incredibly proud of our achievements in recent years. I’m looking forward to building on this success and taking the company to the next level.” 

Niall has been at the forefront of the innovation and growth of the company throughout his time at Dynamic Events Ireland and has always had a hand in all aspects of the company's operation, ranging from sales and marketing to commercial strategy. Essentially, he knows the company inside out. 

Niall and Richard have always had a shared vision for the company, and as Richard looks to concentrate on new opportunities, he knows the company is in safe hands with Niall as Managing Director.

The appointment comes at an exciting time for Dynamic Events, who delivered 850 events, online and in person, for 400 customers in 2022. Clients come from a range of industries like tech, pharma, government & finance such as TikTok, PwC and Pfizer to name a few. The company is now poised for further growth and expansion in the coming years. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, O’Connor is well-placed to drive the company’s success, and cement its position as one of Ireland’s leading event management companies.
