Fidelity Investments Explore Galway with a Remote Host Digital Treasure Hunt
Fidelity Investments employees headed into Galway City for a Digital Treasure Hunt with a difference. The group took part together in person, while Dynamic Events handled the briefing and event support remotely.
Fidelity Investments had a plan for their team-building afternoon in Galway. Get everyone together at the office, head into the city for a treasure hunt and finish up at An Púcán.
They contacted us to book our Remote Host Digital Treasure Hunt for October 2026.
The group would be together in person, but our event host would join remotely. All Fidelity Investments needed at their office was a suitable space, a laptop and a screen for the briefing. They also arranged a finish venue where everyone could regroup afterwards.
The Briefing
At 2 pm, we joined the 34 participants over Zoom at their office just outside Galway City.
We'd set up the meeting beforehand and sent across the joining link, so the first job was a quick check that everyone could hear us and we could see the group.
Once that was sorted, we talked everyone through the treasure hunt, explained how the afternoon would run and got the five teams ready to go.
Then it was time to leave the office behind.
Remote Host Galway City Treasure Hunt
The group travelled into Galway City, with the treasure hunt getting underway at around 3 pm.
The five teams headed off to explore the city, taking part in the digital treasure hunt while our event team supported them remotely.
That's the idea behind our remote host format. Your team still gets out of the office and takes part in an activity together. We handle the briefing and support from a different location.
It's one of the reasons remote host events can work well for companies looking for a different way to organise team building.
For Fidelity Investments, that meant their colleagues could spend the afternoon out and about in Galway without us needing to have a host physically on the ground.
Finishing Up at An Púcán
An Púcán was the chosen finish point, with everyone due to meet there at approximately 5 pm.
Fidelity Investments had planned to use the venue to gather the group for the treasure hunt results. Straight after the event, we sent all photos and videos to the organiser along with the scoreboard for them to reveal with the group.
It was a handy way to round off the afternoon, with the city-centre venue giving everyone a place to meet after completing the hunt.
Fancy Something Similar for Your Team?
A remote host treasure hunt is worth considering if you'd like to get your team out exploring a city while we look after the activity remotely.
