A Corporate Murder Mystery Event That Brought Everyone Together

Meet Analytic Partners. A global leader in commercial intelligence, they empower businesses to make smarter, data driven decisions using their powerful analytics platform, GPS Enterprise. Their team blends cutting edge technology with real human expertise to help organisations adapt and grow in an ever-changing business environment.

For their business kick off conference at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Analytic Partners wanted more than just a morning meeting. They wanted to:

  • Start the day with good energy and light engagement
  • Connect team members of all ages in a relaxed, inclusive way
  • Set the tone for collaboration and fun before the business agenda kicked off

But the road ahead wasn’t exactly simple:

  • Diverse team with diverse interests: With 57 attendees ranging from 23 and 60 year-olds, they needed something engaging but not over the top.
  • Timing was tight: It was early morning, and no one wanted to start the day with something too intense.
  • High expectations: As a company known for precision and performance, they needed an activity that matched their values.

In short, they wanted something that would be fun and wouldn’t feel forced, they needed something that everyone could enjoy, regardless of personality or role.

How We Worked Our Magic

This is where we stepped in. Our team knew exactly how to balance energy, engagement and approachability to create a seamless start to their event.

Here’s what we did:

  • We became part of their planning team: Right from the first e-mail, our sales team took time to understand their goals, concerns and constraints.
  • We curated the right options: From our wide range of team building activities, we presented a shortlist that suited their vibe, schedule and team mix.
  • They chose the Manor House Murder: A perfect fit. This activity is interactive, inclusive and light hearted with just enough challenge to get everyone involved and thinking.

The Experience

Manor House Murder is a dully immersive team building mystery game designed to spark collaboration, critical thinking and fun. Set in a luxurious yet mysterious setting, participants work in teams to uncover who murdered the lawyer Laura Norder and what they used to complete to murder.

What made this event shine:

  • Interactive, not intimidating: No awkward role play or public speaking required. Everyone could participate at their own comfort level
  • Critical thinking challenge: Teams had ti problem solve and collaborate without even realising how much team work they were doing.
  • Fun corporate team event: The room was filled with light bulb moments and laughter.

Behind the scenes our facilitators ensured the session flowed smoothly, with every team supported and included.

The Incredible Transformation

Before: A quiet early morning, a mix of nervous energy and sleepy faces, with teams still finding their feet.

After: A room buzzing with conversation and laughter. People who had barely worked together were now colleagues that could laugh together. The rest of their conference kicked off with such a good atmosphere in the room.

Beyond the Numbers: The Real Impact

  • 57 people fully engaged from start to finish
  • Increased collaboration throughout the day
  • Positive feedback across departments and seniority levels

But the real win? The shift in mood. From quiet and reserved to open and ready to work together.

This wasn’t just a nice way to fill an hour it created momentum for the day ahead.

The Heart of What We Do

Every team is different. What worked for Analytic Partners was a result of:

  • Listening carefully to their goals
  • Understanding how their team worked
  • Matching them with an activity that created just the right atmosphere

And that’s what we love most: helping teams connect in ways that feel real, memorable and uniquely their own.
