"Owlympics" - Custom CSR Game for 300 Attendees

Background

The client hosted a global rewards trip for 300 top performers. As part of the programme, they planned a CSR team building activity themed around Irish birdlife and conservation. They asked us to design a custom game through our app to run alongside the other supplier-led elements. The goal was to keep all attendees involved and give structure to the session.

Our Approach

We built a bespoke CSR quiz game using our custom event technology. The content focused on native Irish birds such as the Barn Owl, Robin, Swallow and Peregrine Falcon. The quiz combined multiple choice questions with creative photo and video tasks, all designed to reinforce the conservation theme in a clear and interactive way.

To make the experience feel part of the event, we branded the game with the client’s conference logo and colours. We also incorporated live scoreboards, interactive game screens and time-released tasks, which gave the activity a sense of momentum and kept the group focused.

This project used the same flexible technology and design approach we apply to our Custom-Made Events. Our in-house team can build experiences around specific themes, audiences and objectives. By adapting the content and structure to the client’s CSR focus, we created something unique to their brief.

Experience

The game ran alongside the hands-on CSR activity. Participants joined through iPads we provided them, in teams they worked through the quiz together. The format gave everyone a clear way to engage, even those not directly involved in the other elements. The mix of trivia, photo and video tasks and timed questions created a natural rhythm and kept attention high across a large group.
