30 Years of Dynamic Events: A Night to Celebrate the Journey

Dynamic Events marked 30 years in business with a celebration at the InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin.

More than 70 guests joined for the occasion. Clients, hotel partners, suppliers, and long-time friends of the business all in one room. It was also a special moment to welcome Founder Richard Phelan back, along with his family.

This wasn’t just a party. It was a chance to pause and look at how far things have come.

From Lacken to Where We Are Today

Before dinner, Richard Phelan took to the stage and brought everyone back to the beginning.

What started in his home in Lacken has grown into one of Ireland’s leading team building companies. His speech focused less on milestones and more on people. The relationships built over the years. The familiar faces in the room who helped shape the business.

It was simple, honest, and exactly what the night was about.

The Next Chapter

After dinner, current Managing Director and owner Niall O’Connor picked up the story.

Since joining in 2010, Niall has played a key role in the company’s growth, and Richard was quick to recognise that earlier in the evening. Niall returned the favour by acknowledging the team, clients, and partners who continue to move the business forward.

There were also a few laughs along the way. Stories from over the years that reminded everyone that while the business has grown, the culture hasn’t changed.

The evening started with a drinks reception, where a walk-around magician set the tone early. Conversations, reactions, and plenty of “how did he do that?” moments.

Inside the room, subtle branding and a 30-year display gave the night a clear identity. A selfie wall kept things light and social.
