Dynamic Events deliver ground breaking immersive learning solutions for Deutsche Telekom

They say, the destination is the journey, and what a journey it was. I left the closing ceremony of our Digital Escape Rooms full of joy. It really makes it worth while when people express their appreciation with such a ground breaking NPS.

Custom success story

Deutsche Telekom turned to Dynamic Events to create a learning game that is tied to the company's new European strategy. They wanted to combine digital learning with fun.

They were looking for a supplier that would help them implement something that was never done before, a supplier they could trust with expertise that they could lead them. From the very beginning they were looking for something that would be innovative and fresh because they had several massive online courses and similar formats. They recognised that people were tired of these so the idea was to have something that would be fun, gamified, a little bit of competition and a light learning format.

So let’s examine the current solutions that exist and ask ourselves are they fit for purpose?

Webinars need to be better. They are traditionally very one dimensional. Learning by observation alone is very passive and there’s little opportunity for the learner to participate. The level of engagement is incredibly low.

Then we think of e-learning, it’s just not for everyone. It’s difficult to motivate yourself to complete all the stages required.

People find both of these solutions boring which makes it a problem for both the tutor and the learner.

The Dynamic Events solution is different in that we fully immerse the learner is a fun simulated environment which is relevant and challenging.

By putting players through a simulation we can massively increase engagement and improve virtual collaboration skills.

The Solution

The Digital Escape Rooms for Deutsche Telekom was exactly what was needed.

The overall experience achieved a 4.4/5 customer satisfaction rating from the players that took part and an employee NPS of 64.7 which was commented as being "remarkable" and was the highest score ever achieved for a Deutsche Telekom employee engagement programme.

"They say, the destination is the journey, and what a journey it was. I left the closing ceremony of our Digital Escape Rooms full of joy. It really makes it worth while when people express their appreciation with such a ground breaking NPS." said Marco Serrão, VP of HR in Europe.
