Clash of the Companies 2025: Celebrating 10 years

The Client's World 

Meet the Children's Health Foundation, the team behind vital fundraising efforts for sick children and their families across Children's Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. Thier work supports life-saving equipment, research and family supports. Making sure sick children in Ireland get the best possible care. 

Each year, they run Clash of the Companies, a major charity corporate event that brings businesses together to compete, connect and raise vital funds. In 2025 it was more than just a fundraiser, it marked the 10 year anniversary of the event.  

But reaching a decade meant upping the stakes.  

The Pressure of Year Ten 

After nearly a decade of running the same event format in the same few venues, the pressure was on to deliver something fresh, without losing what people loved most.  

Challenge 1️⃣: Finding a new venue that could accommodate hundreds of attendees and keep the energy of the original event. The venue became familiar, but a change was needed to keep the corporate event exciting, both for the participants and the sponsors.  

Challenge 2️⃣: A theme and activity that matched the scale of the anniversary. Something fresh and fun. It needed to feel like the event was reimagined.  

Challenge 3️⃣: New client contact. A new organiser stepped in, along with this a wave of updated comms procedures, processes and an entirely new way of working.  

The Dynamic Events Magic 

This is where we stepped in, to support the new client contact, manage multiple moving parts and deliver something worthy of a ten year celebration. 

🏟️ A new venue. A fresh energy. 

• We moved the event to the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, compact efficient and a cost saving choice that felt special.  
• The new venue gave the event a streamlined flow and ultimately saved the client a significant amount.  

🐵 A new adventure: Jungle Survival 

• We brought in Jungle Survival, a digital city treasure hunt powered by our custom made app.  
• 384 participants across 49 teams explored Dublin, tackled team challenges and competed in real time for points and pride.  
• It was fast paced, inclusive and full of creative moments that brought people together.  
• To make the experience even more immersive, we introduced live actors at key points throughout the game. As teams navigated the Jungle Survival challenge across Dublin, they encountered surprise characters who delivered cryptic clues and unexpected twists.

⚡️ An electric atmosphere 

• Foosball, crazy golf, connect 4, inflatable axe throwing we filled the venue to allow people to enjoy the energy and interact with one another.  
• We had a roaming MC Doug, who kept the energy high and teams feeling ready to go from start to finish.  
• Our AV specialists Conserv, actors, photographers and videographer captured it all, while music and food kept the mood relaxed and upbeat.  

The Transformation 

Before: Uncertainty. A new contact under pressure. A big anniversary with high expectations.  

After: An unforgettable event, 49 energised teams and a fresh format that brought purpose to the event.  

Beyond the Numbers 

It wasn’t just about participation or fundraising figures, it was about real moments that mattered:  

• Participants with a sigh of relief when they got to the final tasks 
• The dance-off at the end of the event that really got everyone going. 
• The genuine laughter and celebration of teams completing the tasks together.
