Custom Big Picture Team Building Event for DPD Ireland in Galway

The Brief

DPD Ireland were bringing their team together in Galway and needed a team building activity that would break up the day and get people involved.

They were looking for something practical, easy to run, and suitable for the space available at The Connacht Hotel.

What We Delivered

Dynamic Events delivered The Big Picture, built around a custom design created specifically for DPD Ireland.

Rather than using a standard image, we developed artwork based on their brand. The final design featured a DPD van with “Zero Emissions” messaging, linking the activity directly to their business.

This custom option is available as an upgrade and allows teams to create something more relevant without adding complexity to the planning process.

On the Day

Our team set up the space in advance, with canvases, paints, brushes, and reference sheets ready for each participant.

The group worked together at long tables, with each person responsible for painting a section of the overall image.

At the start, the focus was on individual sections. As the session progressed, participants began comparing their work and checking alignment with others to ensure the final image would come together correctly.

Once complete, we assembled all sections to reveal the finished artwork.

The Result

The group completed a large-scale, custom artwork made up of individual contributions.

By basing the design on DPD’s brand, the final piece felt relevant to the team and connected back to their day-to-day work.
