The Brief

Go-Ahead Ireland approached Dynamic Events to help deliver its first standalone Gold Awards.

The vision was to create an Awards Night & Gala Dinner that combined a drinks reception, three-course meal, awards presentation and evening entertainment, giving employees an opportunity to celebrate their achievements together.

As an inaugural event, every element needed to be carefully planned, from the event timeline and venue layout to supplier coordination and guest experience. Dynamic Events was appointed to oversee the planning and event management, ensuring the evening ran according to schedule while allowing the Go-Ahead Ireland team to focus on hosting the event.

Awards Night Event Management

Planning began months before the event, with our team supporting Go-Ahead Ireland through venue visits, event planning meetings and the development of the event timeline and running order.

We coordinated suppliers, worked alongside the AV team, proofed presentation content and managed the finer operational details that kept the event moving throughout the evening.

On the day, our event managers oversaw guest registration, supplier coordination, room set-up and the running order from the drinks reception through to the final award presentation.

One of the evening's more distinctive features was the use of AI-generated audio introductions for each award category. Replacing a traditional master of ceremonies, the audio was coordinated with on-screen content and stage cues throughout the awards presentation.

Following the awards ceremony, guests returned to the pre-function area where music and refreshments rounded off the evening.

The Outcome

96 attended the event at the Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane.

The event ran to schedule throughout the evening, with awards presented between each course as planned. Following the event, Go-Ahead Ireland praised the planning, communication and on-site management provided by the Dynamic Events team.

The success of the evening marked an important milestone for the business, delivering a memorable first Gold Awards that celebrated the people behind Go-Ahead Ireland.
