Kellanova Europe Team-Building Event: A Two-Day Extravaganza of Fun and Engagement

When Kellanova Europe brought more than 100 employees together at Castleknock Hotel, they wanted a mix of team building, team training and evening entertainment.

Dynamic Events delivered a two-day programme that included Giant Games, Detour team training, a customised treasure hunt and Casino Night.

The Irish weather had other plans for some of the outdoor activities, but with a few quick changes, everything went ahead.

The Brief

Kellanova Europe wanted to bring its employees together for two days of activities and entertainment.

The programme needed to include a mix of team building, team training and social activities, with more than 100 people taking part.

A key part of the brief was a customised treasure hunt featuring Kellanova-specific content and challenges linked to European countries.

With several activities planned across Castleknock Hotel, the team also needed to be ready for changes to the schedule or weather.

Day 1: Giant Games and a Last-Minute Change of Plans

The first day kicked off with Giant Games, including chess and Jenga, followed by a BBQ.

Everything was set up for an outdoor event, but rain threatened to disrupt the plans. With only minutes to spare, our team moved the games indoors so the activities could go ahead.

It was a quick change of plans, but an important one. Kellanova's employees could still enjoy the games without the weather getting in the way.

Day 2: Team Training and a Customised Treasure Hunt

The second day began with Detour, our team training activity that puts participants through a series of challenges based on real-world business situations.

Conference Services provided the audiovisual support for the session.

Next up was the Kellanova Around Europe Challenge, a customised treasure hunt featuring company-specific content and challenges linked to different European countries.

This activity was also planned for outdoors, but the weather meant another change of location. Our team adapted the treasure hunt for indoor delivery, allowing the group to take part despite the rain.

Finishing with Casino Night

After two days of activities, the programme finished with an evening of entertainment.

Casino Night brought a Las Vegas-style atmosphere to Castleknock Hotel, complete with gaming tables and professional croupiers.

There was also a magician, a 360 camera booth and a DJ, giving employees plenty to enjoy throughout the evening.

The Outcome

Despite the weather disrupting the outdoor plans, all the scheduled activities went ahead.

Our team moved the Giant Games indoors at short notice, adapted the customised treasure hunt and delivered the programme for more than 100 attendees.

The event brought together different types of activities over two days, from structured team training to informal games and evening entertainment.

Kellanova's feedback was particularly positive about the organisation and range of activities.
