Vanguard Online Summer Event

About

Vanguard were seeking to run an interactive online summer social for their 700 employees around the world. They were seeking a challenge that was relevant and engaging to all their international employees.

To win this event and to make it a success we created a special custom made team building activity that was delivered through video conference and our award winning app.

Process

Our in house design team created custom branding which incorporated the Vanguard colours and logo into the app. This meant whilst logging in, and through out the app, the participants were seeing the Vanguard logo and colours.

Our game creation team brainstormed event ideas and concluded with the idea of using our Around The World challenge with a Vanguard twist. The team changed the countries in the game to the countries in which Vanguard has offices.

The team liaised with Vanguard organisers to create custom questions, relevant to each office location, to be placed in each country so not only were participants being challenged on the country itself but they were being tested on their knowledge of the Vanguard office in that country.

Result

The event attracted hundreds of Vanguard's employees and the feedback was amazingly positive. To allow for all the different time zones we ran 2 of the events to allow for maximum participation.

Our ability to customise our app based games in terms of branding, game design and custom questions is what set us apart and allowed us to win this event. Our brilliant sales and operations teams made the experience very easy and straight forward for our client.

During the event the participants were shooting some fun photos and videos to collect points. Post event we were able to put together a montage video of all the best bits for the participants to watch back and enjoy.
