How The Cake Factory Works
From the Bakery Team
Participants are assigned specific roles, such as planner, builder, quality checker and deliveries. These roles mirror real life workplace functions and interdependencies.
Start the Production Line
Teams work in short, timed rounds to plan, produce and deliver cakes. Each round increases in complexity, testing communication and coordination.
Teams will Reflect
After each round, teams conduct a brief structured review. They will discuss what went well, what caused delays and what can be improved.
Make Strategic Upgrades
Using earned points, teams invest in recipe or workflow upgrades, reinforcing concepts like prioritisation, process improvement and ROI thinking.
Facilitator Led Debrief
One of our professional facilitators' guides a final debrief session, linking observed behaviours to real business challenges and performance outcomes.
