Graduate Programme Team Building: How Dynamic Events Supported Sisk Across Three Intakes

The Challenge

When John Sisk & Son planned its first graduate programme team building event in 2023, the goal was simple but important. They wanted to bring together two graduate cohorts for the first time, helping participants build relationships and develop networks across the group.

With around 70 graduates expected, Sisk wanted a team building event that encouraged interaction over a few hours before the group came together for a relaxed BBQ.

The Solution

After discussing the group size, venue and desired outcomes, Dynamic Events recommended a programme of collaborative team building activities designed to encourage communication, teamwork and problem solving.

Rather than offering an off-the-shelf package, each event was tailored to suit the venue, available time and objectives of the graduate programme. As new graduate cohorts joined the business over the following years, we continued to recommend activities based on the size of each group, the venue and the outcomes Sisk wanted to achieve.

As attendance increased, Dynamic Events continued to deliver tailored team building experiences that supported the objectives of each graduate programme while adapting recommendations to suit the growing group size.

One of the strongest indicators of a successful event is when a client chooses to return.

Following the first graduate programme event in 2023, Sisk invited Dynamic Events back to deliver events for its graduate cohorts in both 2025 and 2026. In the 2025 enquiry, the Early Careers Manager noted that previous activities had been "well received" and was keen to discuss options for the next intake.

By 2026, the booking process had become even simpler, with Sisk getting in touch to arrange another graduate programme event.
