Meet Our Client 

Meet Leinster Rugby Club. As one of Ireland's four professional provincial rugby teams, they've been a major force in Irish and European rugby since turning professional in 1995. With around 200 staff, they wanted to celebrate their hardworking team with a feel-good day that included their families, some fun and no stress.  

They had a clear goal:  Bring people together in a fun and relaxed way, not just the staff but their families as well.  

But turning their vision into a reality came with some real-world challenges: 

• How do you plan an outdoor event in Ireland without worrying about the weather ruining it all? 
• How do you keep the day engaging for the adults and the children? 
• Where will we find the time to organise this? 

This is Where We Came In 

We were ready to take the pressure off this team and bring their ideas to life and here’s how we made it happen.  

We became part of Leinster Rugby Club’s team, and we listened closely to what their goal was, and it was for the event to be fun, simple and inclusive.   We offered clear guidance from day one and helped them choose between indoor and outdoor options while also agreeing on a location that gave the team peace of mind no matter what the weather.  

We built the experience with everyone in mind 

• The venue: Bective Rugby Club’s all weather pitch was the perfect mix of reliable, outdoor and clean.  
• The setup: We packed the agenda with low maintenance and high energy entertainment that let attendees jump in whenever they pleased.  
• The vibe: This event was laid back and casual, the space allowed us to make attendees feel welcomed with no pressure to join in on activities but still making it inclusive. 

The Activities Included: 

♟️ - Giant games including Foosball, Chess, connect 4 and Jenga 
🪓 - Crazy Golf and Inflatable Axe Throwing 
🎨 - Toddler zone with colouring pages and bean bags 
🍿 - Chill out area with deck chairs and bean bags  
🎤 - A Dj to keep the energy high and the music flowing 

Behind The Scenes 

• We handled all of the supplier co-ordination, pitch compliance, setup and set down we were there for absolutely everything from the first phone call to the final pack-up 
• Our team that was on-site kept everything moving smoothly and helped to boost engagement as the teams arrived and encouraged them to take part with no added pressure.  

The Difference 

Before: The club had an idea but had no time to pull it together, they worried about the weather, engagement, how it was going to work and whether it was actually going to come together on time.  

After: The pitch was filled with laughter, kids running between games, teams catching up outside of the work environment and families felt fully relaxed. It was an amazing celebration.  

The Real Impact  

We were so happy with the turnout: 

→ 200+ happy guests 
→ Only some weather worries 
→ Dozens of activities to choose from that kept attendees of all ages engaged  

But there were some moments that really stuck with us throughout the event 

✔️ Kids beating their Dad’s at Connect 4 
✔️ Kids and their parents taking turns at the axe throwing 
✔️ People who rarely get to talk outside of work catching up over a coffee 

These are the moments and the reasons why we do these events, this team got a real genuine connection from the event.  

Why We Do What We Do 

Every event has it’s own energy. What stood out this time was: 

• Staff appreciation doesn’t need to be over the top it just needs to be genuine 
• Family Days are one of the simplest ways to build stringer culture 
• Letting us take the stress off your plate allows you to be present on the day
