NCSC Cyber Expo | Exhibition Management Case Study

Dynamic Events worked with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to plan and manage the three-day Cyber Expo at The Convention Centre Dublin.

Held in The Forum, the exhibition formed part of the wider NCSC Cyber Security Conference & Expo, bringing together organisations from across cybersecurity, technology, government and research. The floor plan featured 70 planned exhibition positions across four categories, alongside a dedicated Spotlight Stage for presentations and industry discussions.

Dynamic Events managed the exhibition layout, stand allocation, exhibitor communications and on-site coordination, including the Spotlight Stage programme.

The Challenge

The Forum needed to accommodate exhibition stands, presentations and networking activity within the same space.

The floor plan needed to account for different stand requirements while allowing space for delegates to move between exhibitors and the Spotlight Stage. The exhibition area also hosted refreshments, lunch and a post-conference drinks reception for the wider conference.

Coordinating these activities across three days required planning and communication with exhibitors, speakers and suppliers.

Our Approach

Exhibition Planning and Exhibitor Coordination

Dynamic Events designed the exhibition floor plan and allocated the 70 planned positions. Our team managed exhibitor communications ahead of the event, gathering stand requirements, sharing setup information, answering queries and coordinating arrival arrangements.

Spotlight Stage and Networking

The Expo Spotlight Stage featured presentations from cybersecurity organisations and researchers, including the launch of the Research Ireland/NCSC Cyber Security Innovation Challenge.

Dynamic Events coordinated speakers, running orders and AV requirements for the stage.

The Forum also served as the conference's main networking area, with refreshments and lunch taking place alongside the exhibition.

On-Site Management

A dedicated Dynamic Events event manager oversaw the Expo, coordinating with exhibitors and suppliers while managing the exhibition area and Spotlight Stage programme.

The Results

Across three days, the Cyber Expo featured exhibition stands and Spotlight Stage presentations from organisations working in cybersecurity, research and government.

The Forum also accommodated networking and catering for the wider conference, while Dynamic Events managed the exhibition from planning through to on-site delivery.

The NCSC shared positive verbal feedback following the wider event, continuing its established working relationship with Dynamic Events.
