What is the Virtual Away Day

Our Virtual Away Day is a fun online team building experience that brings remote teams together through friendly competition, shared challenges and plenty of laughs. It’s designed to re-energise teams, spark conversation and create genuine connection wherever your colleagues are based.

Working together in teams, participants join from anywhere in the world to complete tasks, answer questions and earn points as they race to the top of the leaderboard. It’s an engaging virtual team building event that helps teams reconnect and discover how collaboration can thrive online.

How Virtual Away Days Work

Taking part is easy. Your company books an online team building event for your group. You’ll connect by video call on your computer and play the game on your phone, guided by our experienced event manager.

Connect Online

Your team joins a live video call on their computers. Our event manager welcomes everyone and explains how the experience works.

Download the Game App

Each participant downloads our event app on their phone. It becomes your team’s game tool for answering questions and completing challenges.

Split Into Teams

We divide the group into smaller teams in breakout rooms. You’ll chat with teammates and choose a captain before the game begins.

Play and Compete

Everyone sees the same game on their phone. The captain submits answers, photos and videos while the team works together through discussion on the video call.

Wrap-Up and Results

After the challenges, everyone returns to the main call for a fun wrap-up. Our event manager shares the scores, announces the winners and closes the session with plenty of laughs.
