Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort

Druids Glen gives us plenty to work with when planning a corporate team day. Dynamic Events can deliver activities indoors at the resort or make use of the grounds outside, depending on your group, timings and what else you have planned.

If you're organising team building in Wicklow, we can run the activity as the main focus of the day or fit it around a meeting, conference or overnight company event at Druids Glen.

Taking the Team Indoors

• Code Breaker: Teams start with a locked box and a puzzle they must solve to get inside. Opening it reveals another locked box, then another, with each solution providing the code needed to progress. Crack the final box and teams get the code they need to unlock the safe.
• The Big Picture: Each team works on its own section of a much larger artwork. Nobody gets the full picture while they’re working, and it’s only when all the individual sections are brought together at the end that the complete image is revealed.
• SolarBuddy Hour of Power: Teams assemble solar-powered lights that will go to children living in energy poverty. During the session, participants also learn about energy poverty and why access to safe, reliable lighting can make such a difference.

Making Use of the Grounds

Druids Glen has a dedicated five-acre outdoor area called Druids Acres, specifically suited to team building and outdoor events, giving us plenty of room to take the activity outside.

• Digital Treasure Hunt: Teams use our app to navigate checkpoints around Druids Glen and the surrounding location. Along the way, they unlock questions, puzzles, photo and video challenges and other tasks, earning points as they compete for the top spot on the leaderboard.
• Back to School Sports Day: Think classic school sports day, but built for corporate groups. Teams compete across a mix of familiar races and challenges, picking up points throughout the event before the overall winners are revealed.
• Challenger: Teams rotate through a series of short challenges, with each one testing something different. One might require problem-solving, another communication, coordination or physical effort, so teams have to keep adapting as they work their way through the event.

Fitting Team Building Around Your Day

Your team-building activity doesn’t have to take over the whole schedule.

If you’re already holding a meeting, conference or company event at Druids Glen, we can build the activity around the time you have available. That could mean a shorter session between meetings, an afternoon outdoors after the formal part of the day, or a dedicated team-building session as part of a wider company programme.

Dynamic Events handles the planning and delivery of the activity, from helping you choose what works for your group to running the event on the day.

If you need support with more than the team-building session, our Event Management team can also help with the wider corporate event.

Planning a company day at Druids Glen? Talk to Dynamic Events about what you want the team to get out of it, and we’ll recommend activities that suit your group.
