Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate

Put the Glenlo Estate to Work

With 138 acres on the banks of Lough Corrib, Glenlo Abbey gives us room to make the venue part of the team-building activity rather than simply somewhere to meet.

Dynamic Events runs corporate team building at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate, managing the equipment, setup, briefing, activity and results for your group. For teams staying at the hotel or attending a company event, we can also build the activity around the rest of your schedule.

Get the Team Out on the Estate

The grounds are one of the biggest advantages of choosing Glenlo Abbey for a team day.

• Digital Treasure Hunt: Teams use GPS-enabled devices to explore the estate, finding locations and completing questions, photo tasks and other challenges as they compete for points.
• Back to School Sports Day: Teams compete across a mix of classic school sports day games, picking up points throughout the activity.
• The Challenger: Teams work through a series of different point-scoring challenges, with the final scores deciding the winning team.

Bring the Activity Indoors

If the weather or your schedule calls for an indoor session, team building can also be fitted around meetings and presentations at the hotel.

• Code Breaker: Teams race against the clock to solve a series of challenges, crack codes and ultimately unlock a safe.
• The Big Picture: Teams paint individual sections of an artwork before bringing all the pieces together to reveal one large finished picture.
• SolarBuddy Hour of Power: Participants assemble solar lights that are distributed to people living in energy poverty.

Build Team Building into Your Conference

Glenlo Abbey has dedicated conference facilities alongside a range of smaller meeting and breakout spaces, so the team-building activity can form one part of a wider company event.

You might run the activity after a morning of presentations, use it to break up a conference programme or make it the main focus of an overnight company event.

If you need support beyond the team-building activity, our Event Management services can cover the wider event, including planning, production, logistics and delivery on the day.
