Nestling at the foot of the Slieve Bloom mountains is the stunningly beautiful and unique 300 -year-old Gloster House.  It is surrounded by extensive gardens incorporating terraces, water features, woodland and lakes, Gloster House is a magical place.

The house and gardens are available as an exclusive venue for corporate functions, private rental and weddings. Also available as a film location.

Gloster House is referred to in many architectural and historical publications. The house has been extensively and sensitively restored in recent years, and has now retained its former glory.

The demesne is situated in County Offaly in the very heart of the Irish midlands and halfway between the Georgian town of Birr and the medieval town of Roscrea. It is an area steeped in history and rich in natural amenities and leisure activities. Close by are the River Shannon, Grand Canal, Birr Castle with its world-renowned telescope and gardens, and a myriad of other castles, ancient monastic and medieval sites.
