Rocket Challenge
How often do you get to launch a rocket at a company event? Work together to design and build your own rocket, then put it to the test in an exciting launch as teams compete to see whose creation performs best.
Build and Launch Your Own Rocket
Each team starts with a kit of materials and one clear goal: build a rocket that’s ready to launch. You’ll need to decide on your design, put it together as a team and prepare your creation for the final test.
Along the way, teams take on a series of short games and challenges to add to their score. Then comes the part everyone is waiting for: the rocket launch. Points are awarded for distance, with bonus points if your rocket lands on the coloured parachute target.
Once every rocket has launched, the scores are added up and the winning team is revealed.

How the Rocket Challenge Works
Once the teams are set, the competition gets underway. Each team has its own working bay, a rocket-building kit and a series of challenges to complete. Everything contributes towards the final result, including what happens when your rocket reaches the runway.
Event Briefing
Your group is welcomed by our event manager, who explains the challenge and outlines the day’s objectives: design, build, and launch a rocket.
Teams Assemble
Participants are split into small groups and given materials, instructions, and a launch brief. It’s up to them to divide roles and plan their build.
Build Phase
Each team designs and constructs their own rocket, testing ideas, solving problems, and fine-tuning under time pressure.
Launch & Leaderboard
It’s time to blast off. Teams launch their rockets one by one and earn points for distance, precision, and design. Final scores are revealed in a fun closing wrap-up.
