Summer Games

OVERVIEW:

Channel the electrifying team spirit and infectious excitement of the Olympic Games into your next team-building adventure with our 'Summer Games' activity, hosted by the Mobile Adventures app. Embrace the camaraderie as you and your team embark on an exhilarating adventure, navigating to GPS hotspots around your chosen location. Each hotspot holds an array of Olympic-themed challenges, from testing your trivia knowledge to unleashing your creativity with multimedia tasks.

But the excitement doesn't end there! Keep your eyes peeled for special medal hotspots, offering bronze, silver, and gold rewards to bolster your team's points and move you closer towards victory. Plus, with bonus challenges offering varying levels of difficulty, from bronze to gold, every strategic decision counts. With 90 minutes of high-stakes action, it's time to gather your team, embrace the spirit of competition, and conquer the 'Summer Games'!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Teams will visit GPS ‘hotspots’ around their chosen location to unlock tasks and challenges. The team with the highest number of points at the end of the activity will be crowned the winners! The hotspots are broken up into three different categories: 

• Blue hotspots contain trivia and media challenges based on the different event categories at the Olympic Games (Combat Sports, Team Sports, Precision Sports etc.).
• Yellow star hotspots contain bonus challenges, for which teams will select a ‘bronze’ (easy), ‘silver’ (medium), or ‘gold’ (hard) task. Bronze medals are worth the lowest number of points, while gold are worth the most. 
• Finally, teams will have the chance to plan their route strategically in order to collect additional ‘medals’ along the way for a points boost, again with bronze holding the lowest value (30 points) and gold the most (50 points).

• This activity is designed to last around 2 hours (including briefing and wrap up).
• This is an outdoor, GPS treasure hunt activity.
• Teams of 6-8 people are recommended.
