The Pitch
Ever fancied your chances in the Dragons’ Den? Now’s your chance. Come up with a new product, build a prototype, create the brand and marketing, then make your pitch.
From an Idea to the Final Pitch
The Pitch is an indoor team building activity where teams create and develop their own product idea. They take on roles covering project management, finance, marketing and creative design, then use an iPad to work through each stage of the challenge.
Teams create their branding, identify their target market, work out pricing and build a physical prototype. They’ll also create their own advertising before bringing everything together for the final pitch.

How The Pitch Works
Each team gets an iPad to guide them through the challenge, with points awarded as they turn an initial idea into a product they can take to market and pitch.
Choose Your Product
Decide what you’re going to create, give it a name and assign roles across project management, finance, marketing and creative design.
Build Your Brand
Create your logo and slogan, record a jingle and start shaping how your new product will look and sound. Teams submit their work through the iPad.
Work Out Your Market
Identify your target customer, decide where your product could be sold, set your pricing and work out what makes it different from the competition.
Build It and Advertise It
Use the materials provided to build a physical prototype, then photograph it and create your own print or digital ad and 30-second TV advert.
Make Your Pitch
Bring the idea, research, numbers and prototype together for the final pitch. Depending on the event, pitches can be delivered live or recorded before the winning idea is decided.
Why Choose The Pitch for Your Team Building Event in Ireland?
The Pitch gives everyone something to get stuck into. There’s creative work, numbers, marketing, hands-on building and presenting, so different people can contribute in different ways.
There’s Something for Everyone
One person might be working on the numbers while someone else designs the logo, builds the prototype or gets behind the camera. The different roles and tasks give people plenty of ways to get involved.
You Actually Make Something
Teams don't spend the whole activity answering questions on an iPad. They create branding, build a physical prototype and make their own adverts, so there’s something to show for the work they’ve done.
Ideas Have to Stack Up
A good-looking product isn't enough. Teams have to think about who would buy it, what they would charge, where it could be sold and why someone would choose it.
Plenty of Room for Creativity
From performing a jingle to filming a TV advert and dealing with PR challenges, teams have plenty of opportunities to do something unexpected and pick up extra points.
It All Comes Down to the Pitch
Everything teams have worked on feeds into the final pitch. They have to pull their product, market, numbers and prototype together and make a convincing case for their idea.
